GrayRobinson is proud to announce Shareholder and Government Affairs Advisor Chris Dawson has been named an honoree of the 2026 News Service of Florida Forty Under 40. He will be honored at a reception on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 6:00 pm in Tallahassee, Florida.
For the third year, the News Service of Florida is recognizing 40 rising stars under the age of 40 who are making a significant impact in government, advocacy, media, business, lobbying, and related fields across Florida. The list has quickly become one of the state’s most prestigious recognitions for young leaders. As part of this honor, Chris is featured in a special digital section profiling each of this year’s 40 winners.
Chris is a lawyer and professional lobbyist advising public and private clients on government relations across Florida. He represents utilities, developers, local governments, and associations before the executive and legislative branches of state government, guiding complex legislative, regulatory, and funding matters. With two degrees in civil engineering, Chris brings technical insight to infrastructure, land use, environmental, transportation, and construction projects. As a sixth-generation Floridian, he also represents leading nonprofits that advance veterans’ affairs, child welfare, and conservation. Chris is recognized for a collaborative, forward-thinking approach that enables clients to navigate change and build resilient, sustainable communities throughout the state.
