GrayRobinson Adds 11 New Associates to 3 Practices Across 8 Offices

ORLANDO, Fla. – GrayRobinson is pleased to announce the addition of 11 new associate attorneys, expanding the firm’s legal bench across three practices and eight offices. These new attorneys, including Faith Battaglini, Madeleine C. Bodiford, Caroline R. Bradley, Nathan Cochran, Taylor Col, Elizabeth Giles, Kristina R. Lester, Alexa M. “Lexee” Long, Ashvi Luthra, Madhav G. Patil, and Olivia C. Polimeni, demonstrate GrayRobinson’s commitment to intentional growth that supports client needs.

Faith Battaglini, Intellectual Property, Tampa

Battaglini focuses her practice on intellectual property (IP) matters with a special focus on patent litigation and prosecution, as well as trademarks and copyrights.

She is highly skilled in researching and analyzing underlying patent and IP litigation topics. Battaglini supports litigation pursuits through the strategic structuring and use of claim charts, analysis of prior art, and the proper organization of data for persuasive legal arguments and presentations. She combines technical insight with legal proficiency to help clients navigate complex IP issues with precision and clarity.

Battaglini was a member of the GrayRobinson 2024 Class of Summer Associates and worked as a law clerk for the firm. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. She is admitted to practice in Florida before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Madeleine C. Bodiford, Litigation, Tallahassee

Bodiford focuses her practice on civil litigation and regulatory matters. 

She supports clients through all stages of complex civil disputes, conducting legal research, drafting substantive memoranda, and assisting with trial preparation. Her background includes experience in litigation support, investigations, and regulatory guide development, which informs her practical and detail-driven approach to advancing client objectives. 

Bodiford was a member of the GrayRobinson 2024 Class of Summer Associates and worked as a law clerk for the firm. She earned her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law and a Bachelor of Science from the Florida State University, where she received a certification in Florida Emergency Management and Homeland Security. Bodiford is admitted to practice in Florida and is a member of the William H. Stafford American Inn of Court.

Caroline R. Bradley, Litigation, Jacksonville

Bradley focuses her practice on general litigation, providing detailed research, thoughtful analysis, and strategic planning support for clients.

Before joining the firm, Bradley interned with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, where she analyzed sentencing issues and collaborated with attorneys across jurisdictions to develop appellate strategy, and with the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, where she gained insight into federal litigation, appellate practice, and case development. Her background in communications and conflict resolution further strengthens her ability to navigate complex matters with precision. 

Bradley was a member of the GrayRobinson 2024 Class of Summer Associates and worked as a paralegal and law clerk for the firm. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida. She is admitted to practice in Florida.

Nathan Cochran, Real Estate and Land Use, Fort Myers

Cochran focuses his practice on real estate, government, environmental, and litigation matters, including development entitlements, property transactions, regulatory compliance, and related disputes.

Shaped by a family history spanning seven generations in Florida, Cochran brings a perspective deeply rooted in the state’s history, land development, and governance systems. He represents clients throughout Florida on matters involving comprehensive planning, zoning, permitting, infrastructure, and environmental and sustainability compliance. 

Cochran joined GrayRobinson in 2024 as a law clerk. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Rollins College. He is admitted to practice in Florida and is a member of The Florida Bar.  

Taylor Col, Intellectual Property, Gainesville

Col focuses his practice on intellectual property, technology, and health care matters, including patent and trademark prosecution, transactions, regulatory compliance, and strategies for protecting and enforcing the rights of creators, innovators, and business owners. 

Before joining the firm, Col worked in the engineering sector, a technical foundation that enhances his ability to quickly understand and evaluate the technologies central to many IP matters. He applies strategic research, precise drafting, and thoughtful analysis to help clients capitalize on their assets while safeguarding their innovations. 

Col joined GrayRobinson in 2025 as a law clerk. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. He also holds a Master of Engineering in Environmental Engineering Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida. He is admitted to practice in Florida and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Elizabeth Giles, Litigation, Tampa

Giles focuses her practice on civil litigation with an emphasis on construction and contract disputes. 

She counsels clients on defense strategies related to AIA documents and defect litigation and assists in complex lawsuits involving contractors and construction professionals. Giles also supports mediation proceedings and provides practical, client-focused solutions to help achieve efficient and effective dispute resolution. 

Giles joined GrayRobinson in 2024 as a law clerk. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from The University of the South. She is admitted to practice in Florida and is a member of the American Bar Association, The Florida Bar, and the Hillsborough County Bar Association. 

Kristina R. Lester, Litigation, Tampa

Lester focuses her practice on civil litigation, providing thoughtful insight and detailed legal analysis to support complex litigation matters.

Drawing from her experience at the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Lester applies a practical, research-driven approach to case development, drafting motions and legal memoranda, and supporting dispute resolution proceedings. 

Lester was a member of the GrayRobinson 2024 Class of Summer Associates and worked as a law clerk for the firm. She earned her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Mount Holyoke College. She is admitted to practice in Florida and is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association.

Alexa M. “Lexee” Long, Litigation, Orlando

Long focuses her practice on complex litigation matters, drawing on her real estate, banking, and political campaign experience.

Long partners with clients to draft contracts and loan agreements and provides support for litigation teams in the development of closing documents and preparation of comprehensive legal and financial research. She also assists in complex transactional matters, providing tax analysis, financial reviews, and loan preparation, ensuring accuracy and compliance for closings.

Long has served in leadership roles in national political campaigns and professional organizations and has advanced certifications in Westlaw and LexisNexis.

Long was a member of the GrayRobinson 2024 Class of Summer Associates and worked as a law clerk for the firm. She earned her Juris Doctor from Barry University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida. She is admitted to practice in Florida.

Ashvi Luthra, Litigation, Melbourne

Luthra focuses her practice on business litigation, including commercial leases, IP, and regulatory matters.

She plays an active role in developing case strategy, conducting in-depth legal research, and preparing motions, discovery materials, and hearing support documents. Her background spans commercial litigation and corporate operations in the technology sector, where she has assisted with insurance negotiations and client communications.

Luthra was a member of the GrayRobinson 2023 and 2024 Class of Summer Associates and worked as a junior legislative assistant and law clerk for the firm. She earned her Juris Doctor from the Florida State University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is admitted to practice in Florida.

Madhav G. Patil, Litigation, Orlando

Patil’s practice spans corporate governance, litigation, and regulatory compliance, with an emphasis on contracts, construction, and business operations.

His background includes experience with the in-house counsel team of a national health system, where he evaluated policies, analyzed contractual obligations, and engaged in negotiations.

Patil was a member of the GrayRobinson 2024 Class of Summer Associates and worked as a law clerk for the firm. He earned his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida. He is admitted to practice in Florida, and is currently working toward an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.

Olivia C. Polimeni, Litigation, Boca Raton

Polimeni focuses her practice on civil litigation and real estate matters. 

Building on a foundation in operations, constituent services, and organizational leadership, Polimeni brings a client-focused and solutions-oriented approach to case management and litigation strategy. She leverages her experience in managing budgets, leading teams, and coordinating initiatives to ensure efficient case tracking, clear communication, and the effective resolution of client matters.

She earned her LL.M. in Real Property Development from the University of Miami School of Law, Juris Doctor and Master of Laws from the University of Miami School of Law, and Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Florida.
