GrayRobinson is proud to announce that Governor Ron DeSantis has appointed Attorney Kelvin Ready to serve on the Tenth Judicial Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. The appointment is for a four-year term ending July 1, 2027, and is effective immediately.
The Judicial Nominating Commission plays a vital role in Florida’s judicial system by recommending qualified candidates for judicial appointments to the Governor. The Tenth Circuit includes Hardee, Highlands, and Polk counties.
Kelvin, a member of the firm’s Business Law practice and based in the firm’s Lakeland office, brings a deep dedication to this role, coupling his legal acumen with valuable political experience. During his time in law school, Kelvin’s participation in the prestigious Florida Gubernatorial Fellows program afforded him the opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on experience within state government, including a role in the Executive Office of the Governor, Office of General Counsel.
