GrayRobinson today announced that Government Affairs Advisor Angela Drzewiecki has been selected for the 12th Leadership Florida Connect Class, and Shareholder Alexandra de Alejo has been selected for the 40th Leadership Florida Cornerstone Class.
The Leadership Florida Connect Program is designed to provide participants with access to robust program sessions in communities across Florida. The program will cover topics and elements to enhance each participant's understanding of Florida's history, demography, and trends. Drzewiecki's participation in Leadership Florida will enhance her "thought leader" network and facilitate work with outstanding professional and civic leaders from throughout Florida for the betterment of the community and state. Drzewiecki brings over a decade of experience in government relations, focusing her practice on a myriad of issues, including local government matters, transportation, public safety, and legislative appropriations. The Leadership Florida Cornerstone Program includes programming on issues critical to Florida, refining well-developed leadership skills via sessions with leading experts, and relevant information on Florida's diversities, challenges, and opportunities. Alejo’s participation in the Cornerstone Class will advance her issues-oriented education and provide advanced leadership training, networking opportunities, and a chance to work with other Florida leaders on some of the state’s biggest challenges. Alejo is a member of GrayRobinson’s commercial litigation practice, focusing on the trial and appellate actions involving contract disputes, business torts, real estate disputes, Uniform Commercial Code disputes, and general business matters for the banking and finance industry.
