ORLANDO, FLA. - July 16, 2013 - Jason W. Searl, a Shareholder in GrayRobinson's Orlando office, was reappointed by Mayor Buddy Dyer to the City of Orlando Municipal Planning Board. Searl is reappointed to a term ending July 31, 2015.
Searl concentrates his practice in the areas of Public Law, Government, Land Use, Banking, Business, Corporate, Environmental, and Real Estate. He is active in his community, serving on the Board of Directors for Heart to Heart, a Community Care Home, Inc. since 2009 and as the firm representative for the Association of Florida Community Developers.
Searl obtained his Bachelor of Arts in 1997 from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, and went on to receive his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from Stetson University in 2000.
The Municipal Planning Board (MPB) holds public hearings to review and report recommendations to the City Council on the following matters: plats for the subdivision of land; rezonings; conditional use applications and plans; master plans; planned developments; expansions of non-conforming uses; public benefit uses; annexations; abandonments; appeals of Planning Official Determinations; and Developments of Regional Impact (DRI).
