Fort Myers, Fla. – April 14, 2021 – GrayRobinson’s Derek P. Rooney, shareholder in the Fort Myers law firm and Naples law firm offices, was appointed to the board of the Charlotte County Economic Development Partnership. The Charlotte County Economic Development Partnership (EDP) is an economic council of local government, community groups, and businesses educating and promoting economic development in Charlotte County, Florida. The organization’s mission is to advocate and facilitate a stronger local economy through diversified job growth. Rooney and the EDP will be focusing on expanding economic development in Charlotte County and the region, bringing in site selectors and working with local, regional, and state counterparts to advance measures that will encourage business growth.
