GrayRobinson Successfully Assists Client in Applying for Florida DEO Rural Infrastructure Fund

Tallahassee, Fla. – January 27, 2021 – GrayRobinson, P.A. (GrayRobinson) successfully assisted firm client Gulf County in applying for Rural Infrastructure Fund dollars for a hangar facility and development property that will attract businesses in the aerospace industry. Shareholder and lobbyist Christopher T. Dawson, of GrayRobinson’s Orlando and Tallahassee law firm offices, assisted Gulf County in applying for the funding through the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity's (DEO) Rural Infrastucture Fund, which provides funding to local governments for infrastructure projects in rural communities to encourage job creation, business investment, and strengthen and diversify rural economies.

In a press release distributed by the DEO on January 27, 2021, Governor DeSantis explains, "My administration is committed to strengthening the infrastructure in all of Florida’s communities but particularly in rural areas where there is often a significant need. These investments will help create jobs, provide these communities with the capacity for future growth, and further develop their economies."
