GrayRobinson’s Marlene Quintana Appointed To The Florida Bar’s Labor and Employment Executive Council

MIAMI, FL - July 30, 2012 - Marlene Quintana of the Miami office of GrayRobinson, P.A. has been appointed to The Florida Bar’s Labor and Employment Executive Council for a term ending in 2014. A board-certified attorney in labor and employment law by The Florida Bar, Quintana brings more than 15 years of legal experience representing private and public sector employers in both labor and employment law matters to the Council.

Earlier this year, Quintana was approved as a mediator for the Southern District of Florida by Chief U.S. Judge Federico Moreno where she acts as a fair and neutral negotiator in settling disputes between individuals and corporations outside of the courtroom. She was also recently appointed to the Federal Magistrate Judge Merit Selection Panel.

Quintana is an "AV"-rated attorney, and an active member of the Miami-area professional community. She is a board member of the Miami Bridge Youth and Family Services, serves on the Eleventh Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission, and is the former president of the Cuban American Bar Association. Quintana has been recognized as five times as one of Florida’s Super Lawyers, and as a "Legal Elite" by Florida Trend for five consecutive years.

Quintana received her Juris Doctor and undergraduate degrees from the University of Miami.
