GrayRobinson is pleased to share General Counsel and Labor and Employment Deputy Section Chair Stephanie Marchman will present "AI in the Workplace: Trends, Legal Compliance, and Best Practices" as part of the Workplace Legal Briefings webinar series on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 12:00 pm ET via Zoom. 

The session will cover how automated decision systems are being used across the employee lifecycle, how Title VII, the ADA, and the ADEA apply to AI-driven employment decisions, recent litigation reshaping employer and vendor liability, and the tension between employer AI-use policies and ADA accommodation obligations, as well as the growing patchwork of enacted state AI employment laws. Stephanie will also offer practical guidance on drafting an AI-use policy, preserving human oversight, and vetting vendors. 

Based in the firm's Gainesville office, Stephanie is board-certified in Labor and Employment Law by The Florida Bar. She represents private and public sector employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including arbitrations, state and federal litigation, high-profile workplace investigations, labor negotiations, and constitutional and sunshine law matters. Stephanie is an adjunct professor of Employment Discrimination Law at the University of Florida Levin College of Law. She serves on The Florida Bar Board of Governors as the 8th Judicial Circuit representative, is chair of the Board of Governors’ Technology Committee and was appointed to the 2026-2027 Executive Committee. She has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America from 2022-2027, including being named the Best Lawyers 2027 Labor Law – Management “Lawyer of the Year” in Jacksonville. She has also been recognized by Florida Super Lawyers from 2023-2025 and as a Florida Trend Legal Elite NOTABLE – Women Leaders in Law honoree in 2025.
