GrayRobinson is pleased to share Shareholder Ashlea Edwards will present "Return-to-Office vs. Reasonable Accommodation: What Employers Need to Know from the EEOC" as part of the Workplace Legal Briefing webinar series on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 12:00 pm via Zoom.
The session explored disability accommodation requests tied to remote and hybrid work – a growing concern as many employers roll back remote work policies. Attendees had the opportunity to examine current U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) guidance, emerging enforcement trends, and practical strategies for evaluating remote work as a reasonable accommodation while maintaining consistent workplace policies.
Based in the firm’s Jacksonville office, Ashlea concentrates her practice on labor and employment litigation and compliance counseling, representing employers in matters involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, whistleblower allegations, wrongful termination, wage and hour violations, and proceedings before the EEOC, the U.S. Department of Labor, and other administrative bodies. She also represents clients in complex commercial litigation involving contract disputes, construction defects, and fraudulent transfers litigating cases across Florida in state, federal, and appellate courts and advising clients in industries, including health care and financial services. Named the 2025 Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association Woman of the Year, she previously served as past president of The Florida Bar’s Young Lawyers Division.
The Workplace Legal Briefing is a webinar series delivering timely insights on today's most pressing HR topics. Each session provides actionable guidance to help organizations navigate compliance, workforce strategy, and evolving workplace challenges.
