GrayRobinson today announced Shareholder Shawn Demers has joined the Economic Development Commission (EDC) of Florida’s Space Coast Board of Directors for the 2024 membership year. In this role, Shawn will work with fellow board members to guide the organization toward established strategic goals and work on behalf of the community to create opportunities for local businesses and citizens of Brevard County. The EDC Board of Directors comprises highly-regarded private- and public-sector leaders who represent and provide valuable expertise in various industries and work collaboratively to shape the Space Coast’s economy for vitality and growth. Shawn is a commercial litigator and business transaction attorney serving as counsel for small and growing businesses. He works with developers, investors, contractors, residential and commercial property owners, tenants, and other parties in commercial real estate transactions and litigation.
