GrayRobinson Late Founder Richard “Robie” Robinson Inducted into UF Law Center Association Heritage of Leadership Society

GrayRobinson today announced GrayRobinson Late Founding Partner Richard “Robie” Robinson has been inducted into the Heritage of Leadership Society by the UF Law Center Association. The award was presented to the Robinson Family by GrayRobinson General Counsel and Shareholder Mayanne Downs during the Past, Present & Future Awards Ceremony held at the Ben Hill Griffin Stadium Champions Club in Gainesville. Established by the Law Center Association Board of Trustees, the Heritage Leadership Award is the highest award posthumously given to UF Law graduates to honor their outstanding and notable contributions to the state and university. Robie was a founding member of GrayRobinson in 1970 alongside Charles Gray, Richard Adams, and Gordon Harris. A shareholder in the firm’s Orlando and Gainesville offices, he practiced tax, business, corporate, and government finance law. Among his many accolades, Robie served as the emeritus trustee and past chair of the UF Law Center Board of Trustees, past president of the UF Law Center Alumni Council, and past president of the Central Florida Estate Planning Council.
