GrayRobinson Labor and Employment Section Deputy Chair Stephanie Marchman and Shareholder Fabian Ruiz today presented “Handbook Harmony: Navigating the Symphony of Policy Updates in the Workplace,” a presentation kicking off the Labor and Employment Section’s 2024 quarterly webinar series, detailing how to navigate policy updates in the workplace. The virtual discussion explored common handbook mistakes and omissions, as well as what recent changes in the law impact employer handbooks and policies, including recommended policy language for pregnancy and breastfeeding accommodations to comply with the Pregnant Workers Fairness and PUMP Acts and recommended noncompete policies following recent federal developments.
