GrayRobinson Shareholder Elio Martinez, Jr. Appointed Chair of the IADC Intellectual Property Committee

GrayRobinson today announced Shareholder Elio Martinez, Jr. has been appointed to serve as chair of the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) Intellectual Property Committee for a two-year term effective July 12, 2024. In this role, Elio and his vice chairs will set and carry out goals for the committee to enhance the development of skills, professionalism, and camaraderie for members and their clients. The IADC is an invitation-only organization comprised of approximately 2,500 of the world’s leading corporate and insurance lawyers and insurance executives. Members are part of a powerful and select group with advanced skills in defense law who look to each other to further promote their skills, business, and the profession in general. They handle cases in all jurisdictions and have been involved in many precedent-setting decisions and appeals. Elio is an intellectual property lawyer in the GrayRobinson Miami office, representing global brands in complex intellectual property litigation. He has vast experience handling matters related to trademark counterfeiting, trademark infringement, copyright infringement, patent infringement, and trade secret misappropriation.
