GrayRobinson Shareholder Chris Carmody welcomed guests to the closing reception of the National Association of Counties (NACo) Large Urban County Caucus (LUCC) Symposium on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista - Disney Springs Area. During his welcome speech, Chris detailed challenges and opportunities for large urban counties in Florida and across the country. The NACo LUCC is the premier forum for urban county leaders and the voice for America’s metropolitan counties before Congress and the Administration. LUCC is comprised of county executives, governing board members and other senior elected officials to focus on urban challenges and solutions, engage in peer-to-peer information exchanges, and inform national policy discussions.
