TALLAHASSEE, FL – September 6, 2016 – Attorney George T. Levesque joins GrayRobinson’s Tallahassee office as of counsel.
Levesque brings over a decade of legal experience to GrayRobinson. He began his career working at a law firm practicing in civil litigation defense. He then served as Special Counsel and policy advisor to the Florida Speaker of the House, representing that chamber in successful gaming compact negotiations, and advised on subject matter areas that included the criminal and civil justice system and the courts, regulated industries and professions, health care, insurance and taxation. He also served as General Counsel for the Florida House of Representatives, and most recently, as General Counsel to the Florida Senate. In those capacities, he advised and represented both chambers of the Legislature on legislation and litigation involving redistricting and challenges to the adequacy of Florida’s public education system.

Levesque is admitted to practice law in Florida and Georgia. He received his bachelor’s from Bob Jones University and juris doctor from Florida State University College of Law.
