ORLANDO, FL – September 12, 2019 – Tucker Thoni, attorney in GrayRobinson’s Orlando law firm office, will participate as a panelist at the American Planning Association (APA) Florida 2019 Annual Conference, hosted by the Emerald Coast Section, on September 12, 2019 in Miramar Beach, Florida. The presentation, "Adventures in the Land of OZ," will discuss the new federal tax incentive, Opportunity Zones, and how the incentive is beginning to affect the low-income communities designated as Opportunity Zones. The session will shed light on the upside of the OZ incentive and share inspiring stories of how mission-driven real estate developers, community leaders, and local entrepreneurs have begun to actively take advantage of the incentive for the betterment of their communities.
