FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – August 12, 2019 – Attorney Gary I. Resnick, shareholder in GrayRobinson’s Fort Lauderdale law firm office and chair of the firm’s Communications, Cable and Broadband Law practice group, presented at the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors' (NATOA) eNATOA webinar session series, "Wireless Facilities Regulation: What's Left for Locals?" His presentation, "The 411 on 5G/Small Cell (State Law and FCC)" was part of the session's Telecom Workshop.
This session addressed the key highlights and local interpretations of the FCC's Third Report and Order of 2018, the status of the litigation challenging the Order, and concluded with recommendations for asserting municipal rights to manage the rights-of-way consistent with current federal and state law.
