Gary Resnick Testifies to the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – March 14, 2018 – Attorney Gary I. Resnick, a shareholder in GrayRobinson’s Fort Lauderdale office, Mayor of Wilton Manors and chair of the firm’s Communications, Cable and Broadband Law practice group, testified before the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation on "Rebuilding Infrastructure in America: Investing in Next Generation Broadband," on March 13, 2018, in Washington, D.C. The hearing explored the most effective and efficient ways to address broadband deployment to close the digital divide in an infrastructure package while reviewing broadband infrastructure projects in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

Resnick, chair of the National League of Cities’ (NLC) Information Technology and Communications Committee and former chair of the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) Intergovernmental Advisory Committee, spoke on behalf of the NLC about the importance of broadband and other infrastructure needs in our communities.
