Jack Reiter Presented at The Florida Bar’s Appellate Practice Section CLE

MIAMI, FL – April 18, 2017 – Attorney Jack R. Reiter, shareholder and co-chair of the Appellate practice group in GrayRobinson’s Miami law firm office, presented at The Florida Bar’s Appellate Practice Section CLE titled, "Demystifying Extraordinary Writs," on April 18, 2017. His presentation discussed the types of writs available in Florida and the relevant standards for each. He advised on how to determine whether, and by what vehicle, extraordinary relief may be available in a given case. His discussion also included practice pointers for a petitioner to ensure a request for relief receives due consideration, and tips and tricks for a respondent to oppose a petition and hopefully obtain an expedient, favorable result. The Appellate Practice Section of The Florida Bar is devoted to promoting excellence in Florida's state and federal appellate courts.
