Jack Kirschenbaum Serves as Panel Judge for 2017 Siegenthaler-Sutherland Cup National First Amendment Moot Court Competition

MELBOURNE, FL – April 3, 2017 – Litigation and First Amendment attorney, Jack A. Kirschenbaum, shareholder in GrayRobinson’s Melbourne law firm office served for the seventh consecutive year as a judge for the 2017 Siegenthaler Sutherland Cup National First Amendment Moot Court Competition in Washington, D.C. March 24-25, 2017.  The competition was held by the Newseum Institute and the Columbus School of Law of Catholic University of America at the Newseum. 

The competition attracted 27 teams from law schools nationwide. During the two-day competition, teams argue a hypothetical case based on a current First Amendment controversy before panels of accomplished jurists, legal scholars and attorneys. Kirschenbuam, a civil litigation attorney, currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Newseum Institute and was invited to judge the quarter final rounds of the competition.
