MIAMI, FL – November 3, 2015 – Attorney Jack R. Reiter, a shareholder in GrayRobinson’s Miami law firm office and co-chair of the Appellate Practice Group, will conduct a telephonic continuing legal education (CLE) seminar on behalf of the Appellate Practice Section of The Florida Bar on November 17, 2015. His presentation titled, “Finality of Orders – Legal and Practical Implications,” will discuss recognizing a final order as a critical aspect of both litigation and appellate analysis. He will discuss the specific legal and practical issues involving timing and jurisdiction once a trial court enters a final order, the consequences that result due to failing to recognize a final order as well as what can occur when mistaking a non-final order for a final order. The Appellate Practice Section of The Florida Bar conducts monthly telephonic CLE seminars to discuss advanced issues of appellate practice, often focusing on hot, substantive issues.
