GrayRobinson's recent Community Leader Forum held on January 10, 2013 in the firm's downtown Orlando office featured Florida Senator, District 13, Andy Gardiner.
Gardiner opened and closed his presentation by stating how honored he is to serve as a Florida Senator. He shared his thoughts on a number of upcoming issues in the 2013 Legislature, including a regional approach to transportation issues, health care, paid sick-leave and economic incentives. Gardiner stressed the fact that elected officials in Tallahassee regularly work together regardless of their political party affiliation.
Before being elected to the Senate, Gardiner was a member of the Florida House of Representatives. Additionally, he served as the Orange County Legislative Delegation Chair and was a past member of the National Conference of State Legislators. He has been selected by Orlando Magazine's 50 Most Powerful People five times (2010, 2008, 2007, 2006 and 2005).
