GrayRobinson's recent Community Leader Forum held in Lakeland featured the President of Publix Super Markets, Inc., Todd Jones.
Held Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at the Lakeland Yacht and Country Club before a crowded room, Jones discussed the Publix Super Markets' brand, value proposition, market share and growth, new prototypes, supply chain and technology improvements. Publix Super Markets currently has 1,051 stores in five states, including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee. Publix recognizes that its associates are the key to delivering the premier customer service that distinguishes the company from the competition. To that end, Jones shared that all 1,051 store managers started with Publix at the ground level as Customer Service Associates, including himself.
