GrayRobinson's recent Community Leader Forum held in Tampa featured City of Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn and 2012 Tampa Bay Host Committee, Inc. President and CEO, Ken Jones.

Held April 5, 2012 at the University Club of Tampa, the Community Leader Forum featured a discussion on The 2012 Republican National Convention and the Economic Opportunity for the City of Tampa, and was followed by a question and answer segment. Ken Jones and Mayor Bob Buckhorn spoke about the immediate, positive impact the Convention will have on the City of Tampa, as well as the lasting benefits from the exposure to the world. Additionally, Ken Jones shared information about host committee responsibilities, such as raising private dollars to alleviate the burdens of government in connection with the Convention, security within the Convention perimeter, venue leasing, hiring staff and numerous other functions. Mayor Bob Buckhorn also provided updates on the logistics and security measures that are being managed by the City of Tampa.

Through its Community Leader Forums, GrayRobinson brings together clients, attorneys and friends of the firm to hear high-profile business and community leaders and elected officials discuss issues of importance to the state of Florida.
