Labor and Employment E-lert -- Deadline to File EEO-1 Report Extended Until October 30, 2015

The EEO-1 Joint Reporting Committee has extended the deadline to file the EEO-1 Report from September 30, 2015 to October 30, 2015.  The EEO-1 Report is a form that must be filed by many employers providing information about their employees by ethnicity/race, gender, and job category.  With limited exceptions, private employers with 100 or more employees, and federal contractors (as well as first-tier subcontractors) with government contracts of $50,000 or more and 50 or more employees must file the EEO-1 Report.
