    Washington, DC – July 10, 2020 – GrayRobinson’s government affairs and lobbying group released its weekly federal lobbying newsletter, The Golden Apple, reporting on the most recent issues, individuals, and discourse deemed fairest in Washington. The House approving S. 4209the Protecting Nonprofits from Catastrophic Cash Flow Strain Act of 2020, is discussed this week, along with the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) extending mortgage origination flexibility for Fannie and Freddie, and the upcoming arguments on GSE net-worth sweeps the Supreme Court will hear. The "Confirmations, Nominations, Departures, etc." section announces that Thomas Pahl has been named Deputy Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), and the "Next Week in Washington" section announces that the Senate will remain in recess next week.
