Washington, D.C. – June 26, 2020 – GrayRobinson’s government affairs and lobbying group released its weekly federal lobbying newsletter, The Golden Apple, reporting on the most recent issues, individuals, and discourse deemed fairest in Washington. This week the newsletter discusses the Volcker rule reforms finalized by the Financial regulators, the new guidance on flood insurance proposed by Federal agencies, and the guidance for examiners issued by the Financial regulators. The "Confirmations, Nominations, Departures, etc." section announces that Rep. Eliot Engel (D-NY-16), who has served in the House since 1988, lost his primary campaign to middle-school principal Jamaal Bowman. "Next Week in Washington" and "The Ellis Insight" sections close up the newsletter. Read the newsletter in its entirety here.
