WASHINGTON, D.C. – April 10, 2020 – GrayRobinson’s government affairs and lobbying group released its weekly federal lobbying newsletter, The Golden Apple, reporting on the most recent issues, individuals, and discourse deemed fairest in Washington. Phase IV of coronavirus relief legislation and the Securities and Exchange Commission's decision to temporarily allow business development companies (BDCs) to issue and sell senior securities in order to provide capital to small and medium-sized businesses, are some of the topics discussed in this week's newsletter. The "Next Week in Washington" section acknowledges the House and Senate was scheduled to be in recess next week, but leadership will continue to confer on legislation to supplement funding for the CARES Act and on Phase IV of pandemic relief.
