We can also assist with issues arising under the Coronavirus Aid, Recovery, and Economic Security ("CARES") Act. We are committed to helping businesses and individuals in any situation respond to this challenge, and we know that by strengthening business models, supporting employees, and adapting to evolving changes with regulatory and compliance initiatives, we can help clients weather the storm, and emerge with resilience.

As we continue to closely monitor developments associated with the COVID-19 virus, we wanted to share an update on our operations and our commitment to serving you during this unprecedented time. We are committed to ensuring a safe and healthy work environment while continuing to provide our clients and all those who rely on us with a high level of service.

Currently, all 15 GrayRobinson offices across Florida and in Washington, D.C., are fully operational, although we have curtailed all but essential activities and implemented enhanced social distancing measures. We continue to monitor updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as Governor Ron DeSantis, the Florida Department of Health, and local health departments. In the event it becomes necessary to further modify our operations or temporarily close any of our offices, our team members have remote work capabilities with access to our documents and systems in a secure environment. As trusted advisors and allies, we are committed to providing the highest level of service, especially during challenging and unpredictable times.

Yesterday, Governor Ron DeSantis activated the Florida Small Business Emergency Bridge Loan Program, which can assist small businesses impacted by COVID-19. The bridge loan program, managed by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, will provide short-term, interest-free loans to small businesses experiencing economic injury from COVID-19. The application period opens today and runs through May 8, 2020. You may access the application and learn more here. Feel free to contact us if we can assist with this or any other issue.

Our GrayRobinson family also wants to thank and express support for all those in the medical and scientific fields who are on the front lines of combatting the spread of COVID-19. We encourage you to observe social distancing measures and do everything you can to stay healthy. As we all do our part to slow the virus’s transmission, we create valuable time and opportunity for our healthcare system and literally save lives.

We will continue to keep you informed as things develop. At times like these, we value your trust in us more than ever, and we will do everything in our power to honor and support your confidence in us.

GrayRobinson is closely monitoring reports of the COVID-19 virus and its presence in the United States and Florida. There is nothing more important to us than the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, clients, and community.

Currently, all 15 of our offices across the state of Florida and in Washington, D.C., are open and conducting business as usual. We are actively reviewing guidance from public health officials, and encouraging everyone to take precautions and prioritize their personal safety.

In the event of exposure, or any other potential interruption to our business, GrayRobinson maintains comprehensive continuity plans. These plans provide for the efficient and secure use of firm resources for working remotely, among other capabilities, to ensure we are responsive to our clients' needs. We are confident our preparation will ensure no gaps in service in the event any of our offices become impacted by the spread of the disease.

We will continue to monitor this evolving situation, and are keeping those who have been directly affected in our thoughts. If you have any questions or concerns related to our position on COVID-19, please do not hesitate to reach out to your contact at the firm.
