The article reveals that last year was a record year for law firm combinations with 115 mergers. According to consult Altman Weil’s MergerLine report, Florida saw seven law firm combinations last year. Two of these mergers were attributed to GrayRobinson and its acquisition of the Tampa-based Thompson Sizemore Gonzalez and Hearing and the five lawyers from IP boutique Espinosa Martinez in Miami.
