GrayRobinson Initiates Relief Efforts for The Bahamas in the Wake of Hurricane Dorian

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – September 13, 2019 – Attorney Guy S. Haggard, shareholder in GrayRobinson’s Orlando law firm office, and attorney Drew S. Haggard, associate in GrayRobinson’s Fort Lauderdale law firm office, were featured in the Daily Business Review article, "GrayRobinson Partner Flies to The Bahamas to Deliver Hurricane Dorian Relief Supplies." The article highlights a relief drive lead by Guy and Drew to collect and deliver supplies to victims of Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas.

In less than 24 hours, GrayRobinson employees were able to fill a plane, flown by Guy, with nearly 800 pounds of goods to the town council of Green Turtle Cay in the Abaco Islands. Those items were then distributed to the citizens in need. Donated items included water, clothes, diapers, and toiletries. Drew mentions that it was "really amazing to see just how much everyone cared."

In addition to the collection of supplies delivered to the Abaco Islands, GrayRobinson participated in a firmwide "Casual Day for a Cause" where employees dress professionally casual in exchange for making a donation to the American Red Cross Hurricane Dorian Bahamian Relief Fund. GrayRobinson matched employee donations dollar for dollar.
