ORLANDO, FL – July 18, 2018 – Attorney Brock Magruder, associate in GrayRobinson’s Orlando law firm office, was recently appointed to the Orlando Science Center (OSC) Board of Trustees. Magruder serves as Chair of the OSC’s Young Professionals Board and served as the Governance Committee Chair in 2017. As a member of the Board of Trustees, Magruder will have an integral role in promoting the OSC’s goals throughout Orlando.
The OSC demonstrates to visitors how science impacts everyday life. Structured programming ranges from on-site experiences that utilize exhibits, theatrical performances, classes, and events, to off-site educational programs in the schools. The Science Center’s many collaborative partnerships with public school districts, universities, colleges, science/technology corporations and other commercial and professional enterprises aid in promoting science and technology education for students and in fostering science literacy among Florida’s citizens.
