ORLANDO, Fla. – GrayRobinson today announced the addition of Taryn Boyer, Savannah Padgett, Jordan Ross, and Esther Veloz as associates in four of the firm’s Florida offices.
Taryn Boyer, Transactions and Litigation, Tampa
Boyer joins the firm’s Tampa office as a transactional and dispute resolution attorney. During her second year of law school, she earned the Jurors’ Choice Best Advocate award at the Summit Cup Mock Trial Competition in Denver, Colorado. This competition uses laypeople as jurors instead of attorneys to provide a more authentic experience. Boyer received her juris doctorate from the American University Washington College of Law, her Master of Arts in Political Campaigning from the University of Florida, and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Florida.
Savannah Padgett, Corporate, Miami
Padgett focuses her practice on corporate law in the firm’s Miami office, where she spent two summers working as a summer associate. During law school, she served on the University of Miami Law Review as an executive editor and as a fellow in the Investor Rights Clinic representing clients before FINRA. Padgett has international business experience, having worked at McKinsey and Company coordinating relationships with companies across the globe before attending law school. She received her juris doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law, graduating magna cum laude, and received her Bachelor of Arts from Virginia Tech where she competed on the varsity diving team.
Jordan Ross, Health Care, Gainesville
Ross is located in the firm’s Gainesville office, where she focuses her practice on health care transactions and regulatory compliance. She has experience with Medicaid, Medicare, Stark law, Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA), the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH), corporate formation, and Florida laws governing health care providers, institutions, and payors, and health care contracting. Ross is also experienced in various aspects of health care regulation. She received her juris doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Florida.
Esther Veloz, Litigation, Fort Lauderdale
Veloz focuses her practice on state and federal litigation. During law school, she competed in various mock trial competitions where she won awards for Best Advocate and Best Closing Argument. Additionally, Ms. Veloz received the CALI Excellence for the Future award in torts and criminal procedure. Ms. Veloz later became Vice President of Internal Operations for the NSU Trial Association. She also worked as a GrayRobinson summer associate in 2020. Before joining GrayRobinson, Veloz served as a legal assistant and law clerk focused on insurance defense and subrogation. She received her juris doctorate from Nova Southeastern University and her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Florida International University.
