Fort Myers, Fla. – March 4, 2021 – GrayRobinson, P.A. (GrayRobinson) today announced Attorney Matthew Roepstorff, of counsel in the Fort Myers law firm office, was elected as Member at Large for the Board of the Horizon Foundation. He will serve on a the Board for a two-year term.
Roepstorff serves as counsel and liaison between community development and re-development entities and local government to foster and facilitate economic growth. Further, his work involves forming and advising closely-held corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, as well as private individuals, owners, and investors for business planning, development, growth, sale and overall risk management in operations. He also assists the boards of non-profit organizations to assess risk management and overall corporate governance.
The Horizon Foundation, a charitable 501(c)3 organization, was established to provide a funding vehicle for businesses to invest in the long-term economic development and vitality of Lee County, Florida. Roepstorff will work with the organization to build a foundation of high-wage jobs, and ensure access to education, quality housing, peace of mind, and outstanding quality of life for the citizens of Lee County. By bolstering the organization's profile, Roepstorff hopes that more investments will flow into the community, which translates into better infrastructure such as parks, roads, and schools - all of which will result in a higher standard of living and quality of life for citizens.
