GrayRobinson’s Tom Cloud Appointed to Serve on Florida League of Cities Legislative Policy Committee

Tallahassee, Fla. – September 9, 2020 – GrayRobinson, P.A. (GrayRobinson) today announced Thomas A. Cloud, B.C.S., shareholder in GrayRobinson’s Orlando law firm office, has been appointed to serve on Florida League of Cities 2020-2021 legislative policy committee.

Florida League of Cities serves as the united voice for Florida’s municipal governments. Legislative policy committee chairs, vice-chairs, and members are appointed annually by the League’s president. Florida League of Cities President Tony Ortiz, commissioner for the City of Orlando, made the appointments for this term.

As a legislative policy committee member, Cloud will help develop the League’s Legislative Action Agenda, which details priority issues that are most likely to affect daily municipal governance and local decision-making during the upcoming legislative session, as well as help League staff understand the real-world implications of proposed legislation. Committee members are also asked to serve as advocates throughout the legislative process.
