GrayRobinson Expands Its Lakeland Office with the Addition of Jennifer Higley Spath

Lakeland, Fla. – April 13, 2020 – GrayRobinson, P.A. is pleased to announce the addition of Jennifer Higley Spath to the firm’s Lakeland office. Spath with be joining as an associate, focusing her practice on litigation, government relations, and administrative and regulatory matters.

In 2003 Spath began working in government affairs as a legislative intern for former State Senator Lee Constantine, and has most recently worked as the chief policy analyst for a major non-profit, helping to navigate the state and federal implications of the Family First Prevention Services Act.  Jennifer earned her juris doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 2010, and began her career as a litigator working as a felony prosecutor for the 10th Judicial Circuit.  As a prosecutor, she tried upwards of fifty jury trials, and argued hundreds of pre and post- trial motions to the court.  Spath is currently a member of The Florida Association of Women Lawyers Legislative Advocacy Board, and is the founding President of the Polk Association of Women Lawyers. Her civic endeavors include participating as a member of the Orlando Economic Partnership’s Young Professional’s Advisory Council, serving as the 10th Circuit’s High School Mock Trial Coordinator, the Tiger Bay Club of Central Florida and the George Harris Youth Shelter.
