Matthew Roepstorff Attorney At Law
Matt is of counsel in the firm’s Fort Myers office with nearly a decade of experience. He focuses his practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, litigation, and government law. He has handled a variety of matters that include business formation and development, merger and acquisition transactions, asset sale and purchases, large commercial leases, corporate governance and commercial litigation.
Matt serves as counsel and liaison between community development and re-development entities and local government to foster and facilitate economic growth. Further, his work involves forming and advising closely-held corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, as well as private individuals, owners, and investors for business planning, development, growth, sale and overall risk management in operations. He also assists boards of non-profit organizations in risk management and overall corporate governance.
In 2011, Matt became an Assistant State Attorney for the 20th Judicial Circuit in Lee County under Stephen B. Russell. Here he gained experience prosecuting misdemeanor and felony crimes, with many resulting in jury trials and guilty verdicts. Following his time at the State Attorney’s office and prior to joining GrayRobinson, he was an associate at a local Fort Myers law firm.
