JACKSONVILLE, FL – August 30, 2016 – Attorney James Nolan, Shareholder in GrayRobinson’s Jacksonville law firm office, and Attorney Jeffrey Rood, Associate in Grayrobinson's Jacksonville office, will present at Jacksonville Innovation Week 2016 on October 14-15, 2016, at the Prime F. Osborn Convention Center in downtown Jacksonville, Florida.
Nolan and Rood will be participating in "Attorney Office Hours," on Friday from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Jacksonville Public Library. Both attorneys will be answering questions on a wide range of topics including start-up business law, raising capital through crowdfunding, contracts, operating agreements and general corporate governance.
Nolan will present again on Saturday for a panel beginning at 11:30 a.m. titled, "Managing Start-Up Risk." Nolan's topic, “JOBS Act and Crowd Funding,” will cover best practices for innovation in risk management and funding. He will co-present on Saturday with Celeste Blackman, LHEP, Co-Founder of Green Zine Culture Group and Michael Zima, Senior Manager at Tax Controversy Services, KPMG. Gwen Griggs, Managing Director of ADVOS Legal, PLLC, will moderate the program.
