Peter Quinter Presents at the International Trademark Association’s 137th Annual Meeting

MIAMI, FL – March 4, 2015 – Peter Quinter, Shareholder in charge of the Customs and International Trade Law Group at the law firm of GrayRobinson, P.A., will present at the International Trademark Association’s 137th Annual Meeting in San Diego, California on May 5, 2015. Quinter’s presentation, entitled “Trademark Enforcement by U.S. Customs and Border Protection,” will provide insight on what to do when U.S. Customs detains and seizes counterfeit merchandise, how to record trademarks and copyrights with U.S. Customs, and how to get U.S. Customs to search for suspected counterfeit merchandise.

Quinter is Chair of the International Law Section of The Florida Bar and serves as Chair of the Florida Bar’s International Trade and Customs Committee. He is also Vice-Chair of the American Bar Association’s Customs Law and International Transportation Committees, selected as one of the top customs lawyers in the United States in Chambers USA 2014 and Board Certified in International Law by The Florida Bar. He primarily represents individuals and companies in resolving problems regarding their import and export activities, especially matters involving U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
