Lauren A. Baio Attorney At Law
Lauren is an associate attorney in the firm’s Tampa office. She focuses her practice on litigation matters including insurance and personal injury defense, government, land use, and environmental law. Additionally, Lauren practices bankruptcy where she primarily represents businesses and financial institutions in chapter 7, 13, and 11 proceedings. Her experience also includes contract disputes and debt workouts.
Lauren grew up in New Hampshire and moved to Winter Park, Florida, to attend Rollins College. She graduated from Rollins with her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law where she focused her studies in bankruptcy.
Prior to becoming an Associate at GrayRobinson, Lauren practiced insurance defense in Tampa, Florida, as an in-house Trial Attorney for Allstate. Prior to attending law school, Lauren was a bankruptcy paralegal at several prominent law firms representing creditors, debtors, and trustees. During law school, she served as an Extern for the Department of Justice Office of the U.S. Trustee, and as a Judicial Extern to Chief Judge Michael G. Williamson at the United States Bankruptcy Court Middle District of Florida.
In addition to being actively involved in several professional associations, Lauren is an active member of the community having participated in Street Law, Inc., the Stetson Law Review Mentoring Program, and the Gulfport Elementary School Mentoring Program. She also founded the Stetson Law Transfer Scholarship to aid incoming transfer students in their transition to a new academic setting. During her free time, Lauren enjoys playing basketball, doing yoga, and fishing.
