GrayRobinson, a full-service law and government consulting firm with 15 offices in Florida and Washington, D.C., has an immediate opening in our Orlando office for an Information Security Analyst. The position reports to the Information Security Manager.
This role requires the Information Security Analyst to oversee and give vulnerability assessments, as well as provide analysis and solutions for system security-related events and incidents. The Information Security Analyst will also integrate and operate various IT security systems related to the protection of the Firm’s infrastructure and data.
Additional duties include:
- Analyzing various security logs and security events to determine impact and make remediation recommendations to the Information Security Manager and Chief Information Officer.
- Maintaining and monitoring of the Firm’s security subsystems such as Carbon Black Protection and Response, Netwrix, OpenDNS, and Security and Event Monitoring.
- Managing the effectiveness of security controls (e.g. system patching, firewall changes, etc.).
- Troubleshooting security breaches and system vulnerabilities identified through audit reports, and provide reports to the Information Security Manager and Chief Information Officer.
The successful candidate will have 3+ years of relevant experience focusing on security analysis.
Necessary qualifications include knowledge and experience with Windows, Linux/Unix, Vmware, IDS/IP, and forensic discovery. In-depth knowledge of Incident Analysis and Response concepts and techniques, including the incident tracking process, root cause, lessons learned, and process improvements, is required.
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required. A CISSP certification and one of the following certifications is preferred:
- CISM, GCIH, GCIA or GPEN
