Information Services Training Manager

GrayRobinson, P.A., a full-service law and lobbying firm with attorneys and government relations professionals throughout 15 offices spanning the state of Florida and Washington, D.C., has an immediate opening based in the Orlando office for an Information Services Training Manager. This is an established position with one direct report. The IS Training Manager is a firm wide resource responsible for creating and delivering training material, developing and publishing training calendars, tracking and evaluating training effectiveness, and reporting on training activity in support of the objectives of the firm. The position is actively involved in firm wide technology deployments, and may assist with other department’s training needs. 3+ years of technology training experience in a law firm or professional services environment is required for this role. 

The ideal candidate will also have experience in the following areas:

  • Guiding the development and design of the Firm’s technical training curriculum and documentation process.
  • Providing leadership and mentorship to direct reports and overall mission.
  • Working collaboratively to identify training requirements and assessment criteria for internal groups of users.
  • Proactively evaluate new and existing training initiatives and make recommendations to leadership. 
  • Strong abilities with creating, editing, and publishing effective video-based training modules.
  • High comfort level and aptitude for in-person, hybrid and virtual training environments.
  • Managing content for web-based training resources.
  • Negotiating contracts and managing training consultants and other vendors, as needed.

This position requires a solid foundation and aptitude for understanding and applying knowledge and insight of computer software and workflows. Strong management and communication skills, attention to detail, as well as demonstrated time management and communication skills, both written and oral, are required. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, resourceful, possess creative problem-solving skills, and enjoy working collaboratively.
