GrayRobinson, a full-service law and government consulting firm with 15 offices in Florida and Washington, D.C., has an immediate opening for an Information Security Manager based in our Orlando office. Well qualified candidates located in other cities where the firm maintains an office will also be considered. This is an established position with one direct report that also manages external consultants and managed service providers. The position is part of the Network Services Team and reports to the Chief Information Officer.
The Information Security Manager is responsible for creating and executing strategies to improve the security of firm information systems. This includes recommending and updating firm security policies. Strong knowledge of security best practices and the ability to keep current on emerging threats and new technologies is required. The position leads the response to client audit requests, as well as internal incident response efforts, and acts as a key liaison between upper-level management, IT staff and external service providers.
This is a hands-on manager position. Excellent technical skills are essential (augmented by external consultants and service providers). The position is responsible for managing firm security technologies including SIEM solutions, multi-factor authentication, endpoint detection and response, network access control, email filtering, IPS/IDS and others. This position also plays a key role in assessing, testing and selecting new security technologies and assisting in preparing project and annual budgets.
The position requires 5+ years IT experience with at least 3 years in a security focused role. CISSP security certification is required, as is experience with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. Experience with ISO 27001 is preferred. Successful candidates may currently be in an Information Security Manager position or may be Information Security Administrators, Engineers or Analysts looking to take the next step.
