Jonathan, of counsel in the firm’s Miami office, advises banking, finance, and loan servicer clients in state and federal litigation, appeals, transactions, creditors’ rights, and regulatory compliance including, but not limited to, foreclosure proceedings, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Florida’s Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA), Florida’s Consumer Collection Practices Act (FCCPA), Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA), and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).
Jonathan has successfully handled highly contested mortgage foreclosure matters for servicers and witness training seminars for his clients.
Jonathan obtained his law degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center. While in law school, he was a Florida Supreme Court certified legal intern for the Nova Southeastern University Children and Families Law Clinic. Also, he served as a law clerk for the Broward County Office of the School Board Attorney.
