Leslie Arsenault Metz, a West Palm Beach native, began her practice as a law clerk for the civil and criminal judges of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit of Florida where she gained valuable experience in the litigation and trial processes. Now, Leslie is an associate in GrayRobinson’s West Palm Beach office and focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation at the trial and appellate levels. She counsels clients in matters regarding business disputes, shareholder derivative claims, fraud, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, defamation, trade secrets and civil thefort. She also represents insurance companies in both first-party and third-party claims and coverage disputes. Leslie has litigated civil matters for her clients in both federal and state jurisdictions, as well as before state administrative agencies.
Leslie is heavily involved in her community. She is an elected representative for the 15th Judicial Circuit for the Florida Bar, Young Lawyers Division Board of Governors. In that role she serves on multiple committees to advance the legal profession and resources available for young lawyers. Leslie serves on the board for the local Young Lawyers Section, is a current member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association and the Florida Association of Women Lawyers (FAWL), and is past president of the Palm Beach County Gator Club, a non-profit organization affiliated with the University of Florida which has awarded over $750,000 in merit-based scholarships to local students. Additionally, she is an appointed member of the Library Advisory Board for the Village of North Palm Beach. In 2020 she was named a “Rising Star” by Florida Super Lawyers. The honorees are selected based on a patented selection process, which includes nominations by clients or firms, extensive research on the candidates and peer reviews.
