MIAMI, FL – December 14, 2019 – Attorney Frank A. Shepherd, shareholder in GrayRobinson’s Miami office, was quoted in the Palm Beach Post article, "Orchids of Asia Case: $425K in Cash, Lots in $100 Bills, Seized by Police." The article discusses the prostitution charges that Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots, is fighting and the new photos revealing that the South Florida massage parlor he patronized held extraordinary amounts of cash. Investigators found cash stashed in at least two safety deposit boxes, the owner's condo, the manager's Hobe Sound home, and purses and luggage.
Shepherd wrote in a brief filed on Kraft’s behalf with the 4th District Court of Appeal that his client is fighting against unreasonable searches that are unconstitutional under the Fourth Amendment. “Suffice it to say that the stakes here vastly surpass those of a routine misdemeanor case,” Shepherd wrote.
