Rebecca A. Rodriguez Attorney At Law
Rebecca Rodriguez is a shareholder in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale and Miami offices. Her practice focuses on a vast array of industry-related litigation and administrative matters, including international trade issues and regulatory compliance for corporate clients.
Specifically, Rebecca has handled various compliance issues related to the alcohol beverage industry, including Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) compliance with draft label reviews, importer permits, formula approval, and certificates of label approval (COLA). She also is familiar with obtaining importer brand protection at all U.S. ports of entry through trademark recordation with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
Rebecca was born and raised in Miami, Florida. After attending Coral Reef Senior High in Miami, Florida, she attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, where she received her bachelor's degree in anthropology. She then earned her master of science in criminal justice from Florida International University.
Rebecca attended law school at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. While in law school, Rebecca served as the associate executive editor for the ILSA Journal of International and Comparative Law. She was also awarded The Florida Bar Gift Award, the book award in Antitrust Law, the SunTrust Bank Florence Bayuk Trust Scholarship for two consecutive school years, and the Florida Association of Realtors Education Foundation Scholarship.
Rebecca was recently recognized as a 2020 Top & Comer in Litigation by the South Florida Legal Guide. She is also a recognized Rising Star in Business Litigation from 2017 to present by Super Lawyers.
