Veteran Attorney and Lobbyist Kerry Tassopoulos Joins GrayRobinson

Washington, D.C. – GrayRobinson today announced Attorney and Lobbyist Kerry Tassopoulos has joined the firm’s Government Affairs and Lobbying Team, where he will specialize in legislative and regulatory matters.

“Known for his political acumen and keen ability to help corporate leaders navigate challenges and establish strategic public policy platforms, Kerry is a great addition to our Government Affairs and Lobbying Team,” said GrayRobinson President and CEO Dean Cannon.

Tassopoulos has more than 35 years of experience working with private and publicly traded corporations as an attorney, lobbyist, and business executive. He is known for advising clients on a wide array of FDA issues ranging from premarket approvals, to labeling and post-market compliance, as well as FTC regulation in the franchising,  business opportunities, direct sales and multi-level marketing, product claims, and product advertising areas.

Prior to joining GrayRobinson, Tassopoulos served as Vice President of Public Affairs and Compliance for Mary Kay Inc., General Counsel of Jani-King International, and Director of Government Affairs at Excel Communications.

Tassopoulos has served as an advisory council member of the UT Dallas Center for International Business, a board member of Dallas Committee on Foreign Relations, a board member of Canada Texas Chamber of Commerce, a member of the board of advisors for the Direct Selling Association, and a board member of the Direct Selling Education Foundation. He is certified in Public Affairs Management by the Public Affairs Council and is licensed to practice in Texas. Tassopoulos received his juris doctorate from the University of Georgia School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Emory University.
