GrayRobinson Welcomes Five New Associates

Florida – December 10, 2020 – GrayRobinson, P.A. (GrayRobinson) welcomed five new associates to its Florida offices. New associates include Destiny Goede of the Orlando office, Kelly Jackson and Maria White of the Tampa office, Sophie M. Labarge of the Fort Lauderdale office, and Lauren Voke of the Miami office.

Goede’s practice will focus on eminent domain and condemnation. She previously served as a summer associate for GrayRobinson in 2019. Goede received her bachelor’s degree in economics and juris doctor from the University of Florida. During her last year of law school, she served as a Florida Gubernatorial Fellow placed at the Florida Department of Transportation and received the Governor Jeb Bush Award for Outstanding Achievement for her policy proposal, "Funding Florida’s Future". She also served as Florida Blue Key president, is an inductee of the University of Florida’s Hall of Fame and was selected as the University of Florida’s Alumni Associations Outstanding Student Leader. During law school she was a member of the trial team, president of the Law College Council and served as a research and teaching assistant.

Jackson has joined the firm’s nationwide alcohol beverage practice. Prior to joining GrayRobinson, she was an intern for the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida, the St. Petersburg City Attorney’s Office, and the Veteran’s Law Institute. Jackson attended Stetson University College of Law, graduating in the top 2 percent of her class. She earned her undergraduate degree from Florida State University, where she studied International Affairs.

Labarge focuses her practice on litigation. While in law school, she served as a GrayRobinson summer associate for two consecutive summers. Labarge holds a law degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law and graduated with honors from Florida State University with a B.A. in Political Science. 

White is a member of the firm’s nationwide alcohol beverage practice and cannabis law practice groups. She previously served as a congressional intern in Congresswoman Kathy Castor’s Tampa office. White attended the University of Tampa, graduating from the Honors Program cum laude with an undergraduate degree in Government and World Affairs and a minor in History as well as a certificate in International Studies. Following her graduation, she attended St. Petersburg College to earn her post-baccalaureate certificate in Paralegal Studies. White graduated cum laude from Stetson University College of Law with a certificate of concentration in Environmental Law.

Voke is a member of the firm’s nationwide alcohol beverage practice. Before becoming an associate, she was a law clerk supporting the nationwide alcohol beverage practice. Prior to joining GR, she worked as a Corporate Law Clerk with Del Monte Fresh Produce, where she developed a broad array of experience in both transactional and corporate matters, such as intellectual property and trademarks, employment law, national and international compliance, data security and privacy, and contract drafting. Voke obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama, where she majored in Criminal Justice and Communications. She graduated from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law.
